The entire movie is so poorly written that I firmly believe the writers thought they were geniuses. I can't handle the level of cringe that this movie has. The movie is so actually terrible that it's making me near suicidal again. Notable excerpts are "they rebooted him!" And "brain box." My god. But this movie is so anti drug that they go through great lengths to make it the cringest thing imaginable. The movie was so TERRIBLE, and SO CRINGEY, that I don't even know what to think. This film is incredibly dystopian but also incredibly utopian at the same time, and you can't help but feel for the only unlucky bastard in the world, who might know the absolute truth. The tension that keeps guessing and wondering the entire film, until the Very Last Second. It keeps the two far sides of the possibility so precisely balanced and strong, that you could tie a string in-between, and the tension would be literally palpable. It poses so many questions, answers them, but then takes away the answer. This film explores and exploits the idea of the unreliable narrator to the maximum. I can see this film becoming cult in the future. But I've read some these reviews, and all of the bad ones and even some of the good ones - misunderstood the film or didn't understand it fully. I can see this film becoming Eternal Matrix of the Spotless Mind This film currently has a low rating (38 critic, 5.4 user) and many bad reviews.
